The Olive Alliance
We are four women whose ancestry is rooted throughout the Mediterranean. We all currently live within our ancestral lands; One in Greece, one in Palestine, & two in Italy.
Our mission is to come together for Palestine; to regenerate the soil of our hearts and minds through the teachings of our shared plant allies. The olive tree, being the common ancestor of all Mediterranean peoples, weaves us together & serves as our anchor in keeping humanity rooted within the wisdom of Earth.
We welcome you to join us in bridging the ancient past with the present; as well as community with one another & mother earth, in order to create a more liberated world.
Om Sleiman Farm - Ladybug farm
Om Sleiman farm is A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) project that has been running for the past 8 years in the west bank, Palestine. It was born as an effort to reimagine resistance as a community effort; rooted in the intersection of the social, economic, and environmental. Located in Bil’in village, the farm is on an acre of land with 3 greenhouses that feed the community. it also maintains a native plants nursery, where native seeds are propagated in order to be reintroduced back to the landscape,
om sleiman farm supports one full time and five part time women farmers, as well as a rotating number of interns and volunteers. Their hope is to transform the farm into a place where food becomes a reason for organizing together and acting together.
“Our work has been an important connection that ties us to our land, and a dreaming space that aspires to showcase our vision of a sustainable and independent future in Palestine.” -Om Sleiman Farm
